RBP Makes Comeback After Almost Collapsing

It’s official, the Redmont Beach Party has returned. After a period of uncertainty and internal conflict, the aforementioned party has re-established itself in the DemocracyCraft politics.

We asked party leader Omegabiebel about what almost caused the collapse of RBP, as well as what led to its “resurrection”.

CastoloGR: RBP is officially and absolutely back. What happened, and why did it almost completely fade away—and what brought it back?

Omegabiebel

“Well we took a general beating in the election. We only had only 2 representatives anymore (Imza and Plura), and 2 senator (Bezzer and DocTheory). There was an internal dispute about the presidential election and who should run for it. DocTheory said that he was the prime candidate, others disagreed. This is something that happens in all political parties and you discuss this within the leadership. We assumed that this would be solved over time in a mature manner, that’s why we still endorsed DocTheory for his senate position. Once he was elected DocTheory just betrayed us, left his position, took plura with him out of the party and triggered a special election. He basically threw a tantrum. Imza left for unrelated reasons. Since I lost my election I just took a semi break. I then planned our comeback. I asked the leadership for the chair position and thankfully they agreed. I then had a website with our policies made somewhere in the beginning of October. I used that to campaign very hard for the november election. This combined with some good endorsements it gave us the result we have today. It was all the result of good preparation and hard work.”

CastoloGR: Are you going to change anything to prevent what almost happened, or do you now believe more strongly in your old policies?

Omegabiebel

“We adapt our policies based on the feedback we get from the electorate and discussion within the party.”

CastoloGR: In the most recent Congress election, RBP made a big comeback in both the House and Senate. Is this the official sign that the party is back? What should voters expect next?

Omegabiebel

“We are so back. I hope we’ll get another Senate seat (or two) in the next congressional election and that we’ll pick up a few House seats.”
