Senate Special Election: Exit Poll Shows Close Call Between xLayzur And Anthony_org

TheBlockTimes is here to deliver results of an exit poll once again, this time for the -currently ongoing, but soon ending- Senate Special Election.

PLEASE NOTE that the in-game results may differ A LOT from what will be presented below. This is just a public poll, with total ballots of 27, which may not be even close to the amount of in-game voters. But, until the results are announced, this remains just a speculation.

Without further ado, let’s get right into the results.

xLayzur managed to get 8 votes in the first round, making them the candidate with the most first preference votes. NovaKerbal follows with 6, and in third place it’s Anthony_org with 5. EATB and xEndeavour are tied at 3, SimplyPiano and Yeet_Boy got 1, and JamesTheSlay got 0.

On round 2, JamesTheSlay was eliminated, and SimplyPiano lost the tie-breaker with Yeet_Boy, but no one earned any votes.

In the third round, SimplyPiano was eliminated and Anthony_org earned one vote, for a total of 6. Anthony managed to get one more vote after the fourth round, when Yeet_Boy was eliminated and he climbed to 7 votes. In the same round, EATB lost the tie-breaker to xEndeavour.

In the next round, EATB was eliminated and Anthony earned 3 (!) more votes, going to 10.

Round 6 came by and due to xEndeavour’s elimination, the top-2 candidates, xLayzur and Anthony_org, earned more votes. xLayzur earned 1 vote, going to 9, and Anthony earned 2, going to 12.

In the final round, NovaKerbal was eliminated, and the last two candidates, xLayzur and Anthony_org, earned more votes. xLayzur earned 2 votes, and went to a final total of 11, and Anthony got 1 more, going to 13. At this point, when there are only two candidates left, and no one else to eliminated, the amount of votes to declare a winner was 13. This means that Anthony won the exit poll by making a comeback in the 5th round.

xLayzur received 29.6% of the first preference votes, while Anthony got 18.5%. After the final round, the former had 40.7% of the votes to their favor, while the latter had 48.1%. These 4 percentage rates are what we’ll use to compare with the actual in-game results, to see how close our results were.
