An escalating scenario -to say the least- has taken place within Reveille, with information claming the Mayor of Oakridge, Yeet_Boy, has kidnapped the President of Redmont, juniperfig, over land expansion.
To put this simply, the information surrounding this kidnapping are to induce juniperfig to sign a $1,000,000 sale of land to Oakridge. The land in question refers to the southern part of the island.
Allegedly, the Mayor played it off and pretended to have never kidnapped nor held the President hostage, though the information TheBlockTimes has received says otherwise. Apparently, juniperfig refused to give in, and also complained that she was held against her will for 20 minutes, as well as being wounded by the kidnappers.
She was locked in the interrogation room underneath the Oakridge police station, and physically blocked off with dirt that couldn’t be broken, as per her testimony to zLost.
Additionally, based on her messages sent to local chat, she was thinking of signing the sale, but after being held hostage, she changed her mind.
The President did not give in to the tactics of Oakridge Mayor, Yeet_Boy, and openly accused them of kidnapping, which of course, they denied.
Finally, President juniperfig gave their final answer regarding the land discussion. They said that they will not give land to those who threaten them and lock them in a basement. They also asked for a public apology, and to plead guilty any prosecution that comes out of this. Yeet_Boy responded, “I have not threteaned you”.
